I feel like I win more at Freemont!

 I think if you ask any local where they prefer to gamble, they would say at Freemont Street because they fell like they win more there!  I don't know if it's true or not but I would have to agree!  I don't know what it is about the "older casinos" beside the lower minimum bets and cheaper drinks, Freemont Street is always entertaining and a great time for me!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE IS THE QUARTER SLOTS WITH REAL QUARTERS!!!  My friends and I make it a point to play the quarter slots machines on the second floor in the "California Hotel!"  Word to the wise you should max bet when playing video poker because when you win...it feel like you win a lot more when all those quarters fall!!!

On top of all that the "Freemont Experience" which is the light show that plays on the top of every hour, is something even as a local I still enjoy everytime!  If you do happen to go downtown you won't be able to miss all the street people dressed up in crazy costumes just looking for tips.  I've seen every impersonator from Bret Michaels to  Michaels Jackson to Elmo!
Like i said...always a great time!

I'll take a "Me so Horny" and a "Suck my Roll"

Sushi Time! At our favorite sushi place down the street from where we live!  They have Happy Hours that last pretty much all day!  On Fridays and the weekend they do Half Price Rolls with FUN Names like "Me so horny" and "Suck my Roll!"  The place is nice with white leather looking booths and the prices are not bad...when it's %50 off! 

We thought we would get Sake to be "fance" lol word to the wise...the cheap milky Sake is a more of a "sipper" than a "shooter" :)

Overall a great time even though it only took us 15 min to scarf down like 7 rolls!

I wish we knew we had an open bar...

I was sitting in math class bored until my friend texted me about the Haus of Gaga launch party...it only took a half an hour until I booked the Cosmopolitan package for $200 bucks for a night stay in a suite and 2 VIP passes and a copy of the Gaga's new album!  

So there were were Friday night like typical college students, pre-gaming in our hotel room because we didn't want to spend a lot of money on drinks...little did we know we had a Belvedere OPEN BAR!  As I'm sure you know what happens next, the night was UHHHmazing!  We danced the night away met some people from England and Switzerland as well as ran into a lot of friends from school!

Looking back on the night there were some "blurry" moments but overall it was such a great time dancing the night away to ALL LADY GAGA SONGS!  I was in heaven and I wished mother monster herself showed up but it's ok I will see her soon hopefully!

NGRA Gay Rodeo!

This past weekend the NGRA (National Gay Rodeo Association) was in Vegas.  I got tickets from the amazing Mya to attend and take some friends...so obviously I invited the most rugged "cowgirls" I knew haha!  

You would think we wouldn't stick out with all of our plaid...

Maybe it was the denim shorts and flip flops that stuck out!?

              

Who knows...but what we did know was that we stuck out at Red Robins and the Galleria Mall....eh O WELL!

We had a blast and can't wait for next year's rodeo...then it really won't be "My first time to the Rodeo!" :)

A moment like this...

Hi my name is Donovan, and here is a picture from the joint Chamber of Commerce Luncheon I attended.   It was in the Paris hotel and casino where this image was captured.  While I was waiting I had a moment (and I have these a lot) where I realize that this image is something I get to see any day I want.  Or this experience is something that not a lot of people get to experience.  Having these moments make me appreciate what I have been given...
